Amgen JAPAC VISION
Amgen JAPAC VISION is a program dedicated to providing Visual Insights into Symptoms, Innovation, and Outcomes in Thyroid Eye Disease (TED). This initiative is designed to advance the understanding and management of TED through educational and collaborative efforts across the JAPAC region. Through Amgen JAPAC VISION, we aim to foster a robust network of TED specialists via the exchange of clinical best practices, the application of implementation science, and the dissemination of the latest updates in the evolving TED treatment landscape. The program will also feature honorary guest speakers and provide a dynamic platform for interactive discussions, knowledge sharing, and expert-led sessions focused on disease-state insights and advanced management strategies. Together, we look forward to driving meaningful progress in TED care and strengthening collaboration among experts across the globe.

Shu-Lang Liao, MD, PhD,
National Taiwan University Hospital
Professor of Ophthalmology at National Taiwan University College of Medicine, and Attending Physician and Chief of the Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Section at National Taiwan University Hospital. He is the Former President of the Taiwan Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and currently serves on the Asia Pacific Sub-Board of the International Thyroid Eye Disease Society. His expertise focuses on oculoplastic surgery, orbital disease and socket reconstruction, and thyroid eye disorders.
Bobby S. Korn, MD, PhD,
Ophthalmology at UC San Diego
Professor of Ophthalmology and Plastic Surgery at UC San Diego and Director of the International Oculoplastics Fellowship at UC San Diego, which has produced graduates in leadership positions worldwide. Prof. Korn has authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, lead editor of the Video Atlas of Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and delivered more than 200 global lectures. The past Chair of the AAO’s Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery series, he is the recipient of multiple honors including the AAO Senior Achievement and Secretariat Awards, ASOPRS Research Award, and Marvin Quickert Thesis Award.
